Racing Hard, Having Fun, and Enjoying the Journey

At just 12 years old, Lincoln Baucom has already spent years learning the ins and outs of grassroots racing.

The Charlotte, North Carolina, racer competes in Bandoleros with his family's Baucom Racing team. The team has taken on some of the biggest events in the region, including the Summer Shootout at Charlotte Motor Speedway, while also getting Lincoln experience on road courses whenever opportunities arise and competing at Wake County Speedway.

But racing for Lincoln isn't only about what happens once the green flag drops.

One of his favorite parts of being at the track is spending time in the garage and talking with the other drivers. Friendly and outgoing, Lincoln has built relationships with fellow racers and enjoys being part of the community that surrounds grassroots racing.

That attitude carries over into his approach behind the wheel. Lincoln's focus is simple: finish strong, race hard, and have fun.

For a young driver, there's plenty of time to worry about what comes next. Right now, Lincoln is focused on learning, gaining experience, and enjoying every opportunity he gets to climb behind the wheel.

That's exactly the kind of journey From the Pits to the Stands wants to help share.

Through our Supported Driver Program, we're proud to follow Lincoln and Baucom Racing as they continue competing across Bandolero racing, road courses, and the short tracks of North Carolina.

We're excited to have Lincoln as part of the From the Pits to the Stands family and look forward to following his progress throughout the season.
