Brenden “Butterbean” Queen

There’s few names in short track racing that are as recognizable as Brenden “Butterbean” Queen.

From dominating the competition at Langley Speedway to competing full-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series with Kaulig Racing, to winning a CARS Tour Championship and an ARCA Menards Series title between, Queen has become one of racing’s biggest grassroots success stories. Despite making his move to NASCAR, he continues to return home when he can, including at this year’s Hampton Heat at Langley Speedway.

In our latest Pits to Stands Driver Spotlight, we are proud to interview Brenden “Butterbean” Queen - asking him about his favorite tracks, what he loves about racing, and more. He also gives some advice for young drivers who are hoping to follow in his footsteps.

Whether you’re a member of Bean Nation and have been following him since his early days at Langley or you’ve discovered him through NASCAR, this driver spotlight is your chance to get to hear from one of Virginia’s most popular drivers.
