Corey Heim
We caught up with Corey Heim, NASCAR Cup Series driver for 23XI racing, for the latest From the Pits to the Stands Driver Spotlight!
While Corey Heim has quickly become one of NASCAR's rising stars, his path to the national level started on the short tracks.
Before making the jump to ARCA and eventually NASCAR's national series, Heim competed in Late Models and Super Late Models throughout the Southeast, gaining experience in series including the CARS Tour, Southern Super Series, PASS, and NASCAR Weekly Series.
That short-track background makes Heim's answer about his favorite track especially interesting. Heim selected Kansas Speedway, a track that has played an important role in his career. He earned his first ARCA victory at Kansas in 2020 and later won twice there during his 2025 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series championship season.
The Driver Spotlight also comes at an interesting point in Heim's career. In 2025, he put together a record-setting Truck Series season, winning the championship along with 12 races, and has already won 2 Cup Series races before even stepping into a full-time ride.
Now, Heim is continuing his climb through NASCAR while still carrying the experience he gained from those early days on the short tracks.
In our Driver Spotlight, Heim discusses his favorite track, shares advice for young and up-and-coming drivers, and takes on our rapid-fire questions.
